FAQ

Here are answers to the questions we hear most often about domains, hosting, email, and websites.

Can I use a domain name I already own?

Yes. In the storefront, choose “I already have a Domain Name” when you buy hosting — the cart then charges hosting only. On a managed plan we set it up for you.

Can I transfer my domain to Webcraft?

Yes. You’ll unlock the domain at your current registrar and get its authorization (EPP) code; the domain must be at least 60 days past registration or its last transfer and not expired. Transfers take about 5–7 days and include a one-year extension.

Is business email setup included?

Yes — included in every managed plan (Launch, Growth, Business): we create your addresses on your domain, set up the mail records, and hand you the logins. Self-serve customers can add Unlimited Email Hosting for $2.99/mo in the storefront.

What’s the difference between self-serve and managed?

Self-serve: you register domains and pick hosting in our online storefront and run it yourself. Managed: we build, host, and look after everything for one monthly price.

How much does a website cost?

Design is quoted per project (free quote via the Start Your Project form). Managed plans with hosting run $29–$99/mo and include business email setup.

How do managed plans bill?

Monthly, or yearly at 10× the monthly price (two months free).

How long will my website take?

It depends on the project; your free quote includes a timeline before you commit.

Do you design logos?

Yes, logo and branding work is available as an add-on — mention it in the Start Your Project form.
